Choi arrives at H.I.G. with a track record of cultivating deep ties with major institutional players. During her time as Senior Managing Director and Head of Korea for Blackstone’s Institutional Client Solutions, she was pivotal in scaling the firm's private wealth fundraising operations. Her appointment follows a strategic push by H.I.G. to solidify its footprint in Asian markets, where the firm intends to broaden its limited partner base.

Jordan Peer Griffin, who leads the firm’s global capital formation, noted that Choi’s experience is vital for deepening regional partnerships. H.I.G. currently manages $75 billion in capital and has historically focused on middle-market buyouts, recapitalizations, and debt financing. By integrating Choi into the leadership team, the firm aims to bridge its global investment capabilities with the specific demands of Asian capital allocators.
