Guégan brings extensive internal experience to the position, having spent the last year as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for the company’s Exploration & Production segment. Her history with the firm dates back to the French retail network, where she initially developed her operational expertise before moving through key roles in finance, human resources, and communications.
Chairman and CEO Patrick Pouyanné praised the departing Pinatel for his decade of service on the Executive Committee, citing his industrial experience and contributions to the company's refining and marketing performance. Following the change, the committee will maintain its nine-member structure, overseeing global operations across oil, gas, renewables, and low-carbon energy sectors.
