The company reported revenue of $208,873 for the second quarter of 2026, alongside a comprehensive loss of roughly $3.05 million. While these figures reflect the early stages of commercialization, the operational focus has shifted from raw throughput to long-term reliability. During June, the Empower Calgary plant processed over 100 tonnes per day, peaking at 120 tonnes, before hitting a new high of 160 tonnes during the first three weeks of July.

CEO Aidan Mills noted that the decision to pause processing in July was strategic, allowing the team to fast-track winter maintenance and reliability upgrades ahead of schedule. These enhancements were commissioned in August, and the facility is expected to resume standard operations shortly. The data gathered during this ramp-up phase is currently being integrated into the design blueprints for the company's future facilities. Northstar, which recently secured a new USPTO patent for its shingle reprocessing technology, expects to receive outstanding grant payments from the ERA following the submission of a final project report later this year.
