The programming kicks off with a specialized barre session led by The Washington Ballet on September 8. Following this debut, CorePower Yoga instructors will take over the Tuesday evening slot from September 15 through October 13, offering free yoga classes from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Attendees should come prepared with their own mats and water.
Mid-week activity shifts toward lunch-hour engagement. Every Wednesday from September 9 through October 14, the square will feature live music from local acts including Wytold & Tolk, Cariel Coates, and the Mark H Taiko Connection. Beyond the music, the BID has partnered with Carpe Librum for book sales and the Brandywine Valley SPCA to host pet adoption events. These initiatives build on recent park upgrades, such as the installation of shade umbrellas and seating, designed to foster a more residential feel within the district.
