Nick Re Named CEO of Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services

After a decade overseeing the firm's commercial portfolio, Nick Re has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services. The transition marks a strategic pivot for the Herndon-based security provider as it concludes its federal contracting operations to sharpen focus on highly regulated private sector environments.

Re brings over 25 years of institutional experience to the role, having climbed the ranks through SCIS and its predecessor organizations. His promotion, announced by Chairman Paul Dillahay, signals a push to stabilize the company's core commercial business while maintaining its specialized, high-security service model. Dillahay cited Re’s deep familiarity with the complexities of the defense industrial base and nuclear energy sectors as the primary driver for the board's decision.

Currently, the company manages a workforce of more than 3,500 personnel tasked with protecting sensitive facilities across the United States. As the firm winds down its direct federal contracting footprint, Re is expected to steer resources toward enhancing the security services provided to clients navigating stringent compliance and classified operational requirements.
