The Cornelius location, spearheaded by franchisee Matt Hess, serves as the prototype for this broader push. Hess intends to develop five units within the Charlotte metro area, contributing to the rapid absorption of the local market. CEO Ethan Grob indicated that the pace of the Charlotte launch highlights a significant demand for accessible, technology-driven golf venues that bypass traditional membership structures.
Prospective owners can now claim territories in major hubs including Raleigh, Durham, Asheville, and Wilmington. The brand relies on its proprietary A9OS platform to manage booking and site access, allowing facilities to function without on-site staff or food and beverage operations. By removing these overhead-heavy components, Another Nine aims to provide a leaner, more scalable alternative to conventional entertainment centers.
Each facility utilizes Trackman technology, offering users access to over 350 virtual courses. The self-service design allows for hourly reservations at any hour, catering to solo practice sessions and small group outings. This push into the rest of the Tar Heel State marks a pivotal growth phase for the Cincinnati-based franchisor as it seeks to replicate its initial success in new regional markets.
