Gauth Debuts AI-Driven Math Platform for Personalized Learning

With over 200 million downloads, the study platform Gauth is shifting its strategy from passive content to active creation. The company just launched a suite of 200 AI-powered math courses, ranging from Algebra I to AP Calculus, while introducing a tool that allows students to build and share their own lessons.

The platform aims to solve a persistent challenge in STEM education: the gap between abstract theory and visual comprehension. By breaking complex concepts into interactive mindmaps and frameworks, the new tool provides a dynamic alternative to traditional textbooks. A built-in AI tutor allows users to pause lessons for real-time explanations, ensuring students do not lose their place while navigating difficult material.

Beyond pre-built content, the platform is betting on user-generated education. Students can now curate personalized curricula and share them with peers, a move that flips the traditional course-creation model on its head. CTO Alan Wang described the shift as moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach toward a system where education is tailored to individual curiosity and skill levels. College senior Emily Peraza, who used the tool to master the Krebs cycle for the MCAT, noted that the ability to visualize pathways was the breakthrough she needed to overcome dense, text-heavy study materials. The updated features are available immediately via the web and the Gauth app on iOS and Android.
