Chesapeake Utilities Sells 49% Stake in Florida Gas Pipeline Project

The joint venture tasks Peninsula Pipeline Co., a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities, with the construction and ongoing operation of the facility. This project represents a $1.2 billion investment aimed at addressing regional energy constraints and supporting rapid population growth in South Florida. By expanding transmission capacity, the developers intend to stabilize reliability across the corridor.
