The five-course curriculum spans three-and-a-half hours of self-paced instruction, covering everything from prompt engineering and custom AI assistants to multimodal tool implementation and deep research techniques. By the end of the series, participants are expected to produce a prioritized inventory of AI use cases and a 30-day implementation roadmap. Those who finish the entire program qualify for an AI for Marketing Professional Certificate.
"AI is moving too quickly for AI literacy to be optional," said Paul Roetzer, founder and CEO of SmarterX. The program serves as a cornerstone of The AI Literacy Project, an effort to democratize access to high-quality technical education for teams and individual practitioners. The month-long focus concludes on October 1 with a live, interactive session featuring Roetzer, Mike Kaput, and Cathy McPhillips, where learners can troubleshoot specific challenges and discuss real-world application strategies.
