Founded in 1986, the McBee facility serves as a major regional player, occupying 12 acres with 31,000 square feet of retail and service infrastructure. The site features 20 enclosed service bays and maintains an extensive inventory of brands including Jayco, Grand Design, and Brinkley. For the Brown family, the sale represents the conclusion of a 40-year tenure, with Barry Brown citing the guidance of Performance Brokerage Services co-owner Jesse Stopnitzky as instrumental in navigating the complex transition.
This acquisition bolsters Blue Compass RV’s presence in the Carolinas to 13 locations. Led by CEO Jon Ferrando, the group has scaled rapidly since 2018 to become one of the largest RV retail networks in the United States, currently operating in 31 states. The company maintains a high industry profile, holding the title of the world’s leading Airstream dealer for seven consecutive years. Following the rebranding, the McBee location will continue operations at its current site, integrating into Blue Compass RV’s broader network of over 100 dealerships.
