Beyond lowering raw steam costs, the technology offers a hedge against energy price volatility and reduces compliance burdens under the EU Emissions Trading System. Arun Gupta, CEO of Skyven, noted that the system disrupts a century of boiler-reliant steam production, providing a practical route for factories to regain industrial competitiveness.
