The core of this year’s initiative is the One Photo, One Story campaign, which invites individuals to select a single meaningful image and share its backstory on social media using the hashtag #OnePhotoOneStory. Cathi Nelson, founder of The Photo Managers, emphasizes that while physical prints are fragile, the stories attached to them are often lost even faster. The project provides a digital starter kit to help families document these accounts through text, video, or voice recordings.
To bridge the gap between physical archives and digital longevity, Epson is highlighting its FastFoto FF-680W scanner. Capable of processing up to 36 photos per batch at a rate of one per second, the device captures both the image and any handwritten notes on the back. Throughout the month, The Photo Managers will host virtual training sessions covering AI restoration, digital backup strategies, and collection management. These resources aim to transform disorganized piles of memorabilia into secure, shareable family legacies.
