Grant Bushman Joins Keebeck Wealth Management as Investment Director

Keebeck Wealth Management has appointed Grant Bushman as its new Director of Investments, tasking the former 1888 Investments executive with institutionalizing the firm’s portfolio strategies. The hire marks a strategic effort by the Scottsdale-based firm to capture the next generation of ultra-high-net-worth family office capital.

Bushman arrives at the firm following a seven-year tenure at 1888 Investments, the Koch family office. During his time there, he managed diverse asset classes ranging from venture capital and real estate to complex hedge fund portfolios. His experience in developing beta and smart beta strategies to mitigate volatility will serve as the foundation for his new role at Keebeck.

Founder and CEO Bruce K. Lee emphasized that Bushman’s mandate involves bringing institutional-grade rigor to a private client base often overlooked by traditional advisory models. Beyond internal process management, Bushman will spearhead outreach efforts aimed at younger family office principals. This shift reflects Keebeck's intent to bridge the gap between legacy wealth management services and the specific requirements of modern, younger investors.

Reflecting on his transition, Bushman described his objective as maintaining strict investment discipline to preserve capital while seeking unique market access. A Scottsdale native, he is relocating from Denver to oversee the firm’s investment committee and represent Keebeck at industry events, marking a homecoming that aligns with the firm’s broader expansion plans.
