His tenure, which began nearly 40 years ago as a field claims representative in Wisconsin, saw him rise through various leadership roles, including becoming the first claims manager for The Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters Insurance Company in 2007.

President and CEO Stephen M. Spray credited Schambow with enhancing service efficiencies through technology and maintaining high marks from policyholders. Incoming leader Todd V. McMillan joins the firm with nearly 30 years of experience, previously serving as head of liability claims for Safety National Casualty Corporation. To streamline coordination, the company is also tasking Chief Legal Officer Thomas C. Hogan with broader executive oversight, aiming to improve outcomes on litigated claims by aligning legal and claims operations under his direction.
