Massimo Group Expands Into High-Displacement UTV Market

Garland-based manufacturer Massimo Group is set to debut its Warrior 1500 UTV at the Equip Exposition in Louisville this October, signaling a strategic shift toward a scalable 1,499cc engine platform designed to serve recreational, commercial, and government fleets across North America.

The Warrior 1500, featuring an inline four-cylinder engine and an all-metal chassis, serves as the flagship for a new product architecture. By standardizing powertrain and engineering components, Massimo aims to accelerate its development cycles and broaden its footprint in industries ranging from public works and agriculture to large-scale property management.

Following the Louisville debut, the company will present the platform at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this November. CEO Quenton Petersen indicated that this modular approach is central to the company's long-term growth, allowing for rapid adaptation of the core platform into specialized models. One such derivative, the upcoming Sentinel 1500 HVAC Crew, is already in development to address demand for enclosed-cab utility vehicles in year-round commercial environments. As the firm pivots toward these higher-capability sectors, it is also actively pursuing intellectual property protections for the design elements driving this next-generation lineup.
