The analysis, commissioned by the University System of Georgia, tracks the college’s influence through institutional operations, employee payroll, and student expenditures between July 2024 and June 2025. Beyond the headline output, the college contributed $51.2 million in value-added services and $29.3 million in labor income. The report identifies 527 jobs supported by the institution, with 159 roles based on-campus and 368 created in the broader community through related spending.

Student spending accounted for $35.7 million of the total impact, funneling capital into local housing, transportation, and dining sectors. Dr. Ingrid Thompson-Sellers, president of the college, described the campus as a social mobility engine and a vital economic anchor for the Capitol View neighborhood. As an open-access institution, the college provides credentials for first-generation students and working adults, directly supplying the Atlanta workforce with trained talent. The full findings are currently available through the University System of Georgia’s public records.
