RealityMine Taps Soumya Bijjal as First Chief Product Officer

Following a year of 75% revenue growth, Manchester-based RealityMine has appointed Soumya Bijjal as its inaugural Chief Product Officer. Bijjal joins the firm to scale its behavioral data suite, tasked with evolving the company’s product strategy to meet increasing demand for real-time consumer intelligence in an AI-driven market.

Bijjal brings over two decades of experience in enterprise SaaS and data platforms to the newly created role. Previously serving as SVP of Product at Aiven, she managed global teams and oversaw growth from £12 million to over £100 million in annual recurring revenue. Her background includes leadership positions at Nokia, Nordea, and SSH Communications Security, where she focused on mobile, banking, and enterprise security product development.

At RealityMine, Bijjal will oversee the transition of the company’s portfolio into more scalable offerings. Her mandate includes improving how the firm delivers behavioral data while enhancing the user experience for those participating in its privacy-safe intelligence programs. COO Chris Shaw noted that the appointment reflects the company’s need to professionalize its product-building processes as demand for ground-truth intelligence intensifies.

This leadership change follows a period of rapid expansion for the firm, which has increased its headcount by 50% since the start of the year. To manage this scaling, RealityMine has also appointed Paula Iddon as its first Chief People Officer, aiming to maintain its organizational culture amid a surge in hiring across engineering, data, and AI departments.
