Danielle D. Pollard Reimagines Executive Presence for Women

For Danielle D. Pollard, communication is not a vague soft skill but a measurable engineering problem. The founder of 7 Wolves Consulting, who spent three decades navigating male-dominated corporate environments, has released her debut book, Act Like a Lady, Speak Like a Wolf, to turn executive presence into a repeatable system.

Pollard’s approach stems from her background in industrial engineering, Agile software delivery, and Scrum coaching. She argues that language, not talent or strategy, is the primary barrier to high-stakes performance. Her philosophy was validated at Allstate, where she helped a stalled 60-person team produce a working demo in three weeks, ultimately recovering an estimated $3 million in productivity by identifying and correcting hidden communication breakdowns.

The book formalizes this experience into the W.O.L.F. framework—an acronym-based method designed to help women watch their language, own outcomes, and construct effective dialogue. By treating conversation as a technical discipline, Pollard aims to provide a tactical guide for professionals who are often the only women in the room. Following the book's release, Pollard is launching a national speaking tour to bring these strategies to corporate audiences and leadership teams.
