Fuji Electric Industry Profits Slip Amid Higher Revenue

Operating profit faced significant pressure, falling to 86 million yen compared to 136 million yen in 2025. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 124 million yen against the previous year's 160 million yen. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect the tightening margins currently impacting the parent company's bottom line.

Earnings per share dropped to 17.89 yen from 21.41 yen, with diluted earnings reaching 17.86 yen. Despite the dip in profitability, the company maintained its dividend policy, declaring a midyear payout of 16 yen per share and forecasting a total annual dividend of 32 yen, consistent with the previous year's distribution.
