The infrastructure centers on WINCOMMODITIES, a B2B platform that allows exporters to store goods in bonded warehouses while retaining title. Buyers can then purchase inventory in smaller, cash-and-carry quantities. This shift addresses the traditional reliance on massive container shipments, allowing for more granular, demand-driven trade. The ecosystem integrates five distinct entities: WINCOMMODITIES for commercial fulfilment, WINLOGISTICS for supply chain execution, FINATRADES FINANCE SA for trade finance and settlement, WINVESTNET for capital connectivity, and WIN GOLD & METALS for upstream resource integration.
Reda Rami, Chairman of RAMINVEST HOLDING DIFC, noted that the primary challenge in African markets is not a lack of demand or resources, but the absence of efficient infrastructure to connect them. The company is rolling out the hub network in phases, prioritizing strategic gateways in West Africa. By facilitating a bidirectional flow—importing international goods and exporting African natural resources—the model seeks to provide a comprehensive solution to currency constraints and logistical bottlenecks.
