Martel will transition into the role of Executive Advisor to CEO Denis Le Vot upon stepping down this October, providing counsel until his formal departure in April 2027. His tenure was defined by the company's 2013 initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange and its subsequent 2018 listing on NASDAQ, periods during which he maintained the fiscal discipline that characterized BRP’s growth.
Minh Thanh Tran, who joined the company in 2017, brings a background in corporate strategy and investment banking to the CFO position. His previous work includes overseeing the implementation of a new North American ERP system and managing the company’s manufacturing expansion into Asia. Le Vot noted that Tran’s internal experience and prior history with the firm—dating back to his involvement in the 2013 IPO while at BMO Capital Markets—made him the choice to lead the organization’s next phase of development.
