Insmed to present new respiratory clinical data at ERS Congress 2026

Insmed Incorporated will present five new abstracts at the European Respiratory Society Congress in Barcelona, running September 5–9, 2026. The company’s latest findings span its respiratory portfolio, focusing on treatments for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis and pulmonary arterial hypertension, alongside late-breaking results from the Phase 3b ENCORE study.

The clinical presentations center on the company’s efforts to address chronic, debilitating lung conditions. A key highlight includes a late-breaking analysis from the Phase 3b ENCORE trial, which examined 12 months of ARIKAYCE treatment combined with multidrug therapy in patients newly diagnosed with Mycobacterium avium complex lung infection who had not previously received antibiotics.

Beyond ARIKAYCE, the program features a post hoc analysis of COMPERA 2.0 risk score data from the Phase 2 study of treprostinil palmitil inhalation powder in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Insmed will also share data from the Phase 3 ASPEN study of BRINSUPRI, alongside research detailing the psychosocial burden and healthcare resource utilization associated with bronchiectasis. According to Chief Medical Officer Martina Flammer, these findings aim to improve long-term disease management and address the persistent challenge of recurrence in non-tuberculous mycobacterial lung disease.
