The H525 system utilizes non-thermal isostatic pressure of up to 6,000 bar to neutralize pathogens and extend shelf life without compromising nutritional value or texture. Designed to address facility space constraints, the unit comes in two configurations: a standard floor-level layout and an integrated mezzanine version that occupies only 940 square feet. By elevating the intensifiers, the integrated model frees up floor space for downstream automation and logistics.
Operational efficiency remains central to the design. A built-in return conveyor system removes the need for manual canister lifting, reducing physical strain on staff by up to 20,000 pounds per shift. Furthermore, the machine’s architecture allows individual intensifiers to be isolated for maintenance, ensuring production continues even during service. USA Executive Director Rob Peregrina noted that the system provides a direct solution for processors tasked with expanding capacity without adding square footage. The equipment is supported by Hiperbaric’s global service program, which includes 24/7 remote troubleshooting and 24-hour spare parts shipping.
