Modern logistics centers are moving away from pneumatic tires in favor of puncture-proof solid, cushion, and polyurethane alternatives. Because high-throughput facilities rely on near-continuous operation, a single flat tire on a forklift or automated guided vehicle can disrupt entire supply chains. This shift toward zero-downtime solutions has made tire reliability a primary concern for warehouse managers, with e-commerce and electric truck integration accounting for a significant portion of the projected market growth.
Asia-Pacific currently commands the largest regional share at 42.17%, bolstered by extensive manufacturing hubs and a rapid transition to automated material handling in China and Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, North American and European markets are prioritizing premium, non-marking, and energy-efficient products as they modernize aging infrastructure. While higher upfront costs for these specialized tires remain a hurdle for some operators, manufacturers are increasingly positioning these products as long-term investments that reduce labor expenses and maintenance intervals.
