The partnership connects Spyne’s conversational AI, Vini, with the infrastructure used by thousands of dealerships. By leveraging the Fortellis platform, the tool automates repetitive inquiries and manages follow-ups, freeing staff to focus on high-stakes customer interactions. Co-Founder and CEO Sanjay Varnwal noted that the move is designed to integrate Vini into the daily routines of sales and service teams, enabling more consistent communication at scale.
Spyne currently supports over 3,000 dealerships globally, providing digital storefronts and AI-driven merchandising. Backed by $25 million in funding from investors including Accel and Vertex Ventures, the company aims to use this integration to deepen its footprint within the U.S. automotive market. Fortellis serves as the underlying bridge, providing an open, secure network for developers and OEMs to deploy these specialized retail technologies.
