T. Rowe Price Launches Securitized Income ETF to Diversify Fixed Income

T. Rowe Price has expanded its active exchange-traded fund lineup to 35 offerings with the launch of the Securitized Income ETF. Trading under the ticker TSCZ on the NYSE Arca, the fund targets higher current income by investing in asset-backed, mortgage-backed, and collateralized loan obligations for a 0.20% expense ratio.

The fund is co-managed by Jean-Marc Breaux and Ramon de Castro, both veterans of the firm's fixed income division. Breaux, who leads the securitized products unit, and de Castro, a sector portfolio manager, aim to move beyond traditional government and corporate bond exposure. The portfolio utilizes the firm's fundamental research to navigate complex credit sectors, including commercial mortgage-backed securities and non-agency residential mortgage-backed securities.

This launch coincides with the firm’s broader strategy to scale its fixed income presence. T. Rowe Price recently entered an agreement to acquire F/m Investments, a transaction expected to close in early 2027. That acquisition is projected to boost the firm's fixed income assets under management by nearly 9% and more than double its current fixed income ETF holdings. Global Head of ETFs Tim Coyne noted that the new fund provides investors with active exposure to specialized credit sectors, combining income potential with a fully transparent structure.
