EarFun Debuts Wave Pro X Headphones with Dual-Coaxial Drivers

EarFun is launching the Wave Pro X, a flagship set of over-ear headphones that marks the first implementation of dual-coaxial acoustic architecture alongside Qualcomm’s latest noise-cancellation technology. Priced at $129.99, the device claims to achieve up to 90 hours of battery life and high-fidelity sound for wireless users.

The Wave Pro X relies on the Snapdragon S3 Gen 1 Sound Platform to drive its wireless performance, supporting Bluetooth 6.0 for enhanced data transfer and connectivity. A standout feature is the proprietary DCAA (Dual-Coaxial Acoustic Architecture), which aligns a 40mm DLC dynamic driver with a 10mm LCP driver on a shared axis. An AI-driven crossover manages this alignment in real time to prevent the phase issues often associated with multi-driver wireless systems.

Beyond internal hardware, the headphones utilize an 8-microphone hybrid array to power Adaptive Real-time Hybrid ANC. This system continuously monitors environmental noise to adjust filtering, a capability that extends to wired USB or AUX connections. Compatibility with aptX Lossless, LDAC, and Hi-Res Audio standards ensures that the hardware is supported by high-quality source signals. The package is rounded out by Auracast support for multi-device audio sharing and a low-latency mode for gaming, all housed within an ergonomic frame designed for extended wear.
