Eiken Industries Profits Slide as Nine-Month Revenue Dips

The Japanese manufacturer saw its revenue slip to 6.06 billion yen from 6.17 billion yen a year earlier. Operating profit saw a steeper contraction, falling to 240 million yen from 404 million yen, while pretax profit dropped to 262 million yen against the previous year’s 441 million yen. Earnings per share followed the downward trend, settling at 192.64 yen compared to 308.94 yen in 2025.

Despite the cooling financial performance, the company maintained its dividend policy. Shareholders can expect an annual payout of 110 yen per share, consistent with the previous year's distribution. These results, calculated under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a challenging period for the firm as it navigates tighter margins heading into the final quarter.
