The airline's growth metrics remained positive throughout the period, with overall capacity expanding by 3.3% and traffic rising by 3.8% compared to the same month last year. When accounting for the group's regional subsidiary, Wideroe, the total passenger count reached 2.86 million for August. These figures represent a slight dip from July, when the airline served 2.7 million passengers.
Chief Executive Officer Geir Karlsen remains optimistic about the coming months. He stated that booking momentum continues at a high level as the airline transitions into the autumn season, noting particularly strong demand for upcoming school holiday travel.
