TCL Scales Industrial Energy Expertise for the Connected Home

At IFA 2026, TCL is blurring the line between factory-grade power management and residential living. Through its "Inspiration Habitat" exhibit in Berlin, the company is debuting a suite of solar panels, battery storage, and heat pumps designed to unify household energy production and consumption under a single intelligent platform.

The showcase highlights a shift in how TCL leverages its industrial footprint to influence consumer products. By integrating SunPower Origin back-contact panels and T5 Pro TOPCon technology into a centralized Home Energy Management System, the company aims to offer homeowners granular control over their utility footprint. This hardware ecosystem connects everything from solar generation to heating, effectively bringing industrial-scale oversight into the domestic sphere.

Valentina Maggiore, Vice President of Marketing at TCL SunPower, noted that the company’s residential strategy is rooted in its own manufacturing history. In 2025, renewable sources provided 11.7% of TCL Industries' total energy consumption. According to Maggiore, managing these large-scale solar and storage deployments in factory settings provides the data and reliability testing necessary to refine the residential solutions now appearing in Berlin. The exhibition remains open to attendees at Messe Berlin through September 8.
