MAMMOTION Unveils LUBA 4 AWD Robotic Mower at IFA 2026

MAMMOTION debuted its latest flagship, the LUBA 4 AWD, at IFA 2026 in Berlin today. Designed to handle lawns ranging from 0.75 to 3 acres, the series integrates advanced surround-vision navigation and enhanced all-wheel-drive capabilities to mimic the precision of a professional gardener in complex outdoor environments.

The new series replaces traditional mowing patterns with the Surround Quad-Vision × Tri-Fusion system. By combining four wide-angle cameras with 360-degree LiDAR and NetRTK, the mower achieves triple-redundant positioning, allowing it to navigate dense tree cover and low-light conditions. CEO Jayden Wei noted that the development process focused on the primary failure points of previous robotic mowers: steep slopes, narrow transitions, and boundary edges.

Mechanical upgrades include an enhanced all-wheel-drive platform capable of navigating 80% slopes, or 38.6 degrees. The system utilizes independent torque vectoring to maintain traction on uneven ground, while a floating deck design with razor blades follows terrain contours to ensure a consistent cut height between 1 and 3.9 inches. For boundary maintenance, an optional edge-trimming accessory automates the final touch-ups usually requiring manual labor.

MAMMOTION is launching three distinct models—the 3000F, 6000F, and 12000F—to accommodate various estate sizes. The devices feature detachable, fast-charging batteries and do not require perimeter wire installation. Pre-orders for the series are scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, marking the company’s tenth year in the outdoor robotics sector.
