The Notra Neo functions by shifting between three distinct recording modes. Ambient mode utilizes a 360-degree microphone capable of clear voice pickup from up to five meters, while the device also bridges phone calls and Bluetooth-connected online sessions. This versatility ensures that everything from lectures and interviews to virtual meetings is cataloged without manual intervention.
Once captured, the hardware pairs with the Boya OS app to process audio in over 140 languages. The integrated AI identifies individual speakers, generates mind maps, and creates concise summaries. Users can utilize an 'Ask AI' feature to query past recordings for specific details, such as meeting decisions or lecture points, rather than scrubbing through long audio files.
Hardware specifications include 8 GB of internal storage and a battery capable of 20 hours of continuous recording. Boya complements this with free unlimited cloud storage for file management and cross-device syncing. The device is available starting September 4, with live demonstrations running through September 8 at the company's booth in Hall 20, Stand 132.
