Insmed Grants Equity Packages to 128 New Hires

Bridgewater-based biopharmaceutical firm Insmed Incorporated has issued a broad equity incentive package to 128 new employees. Approved by the company’s Compensation Committee, the grants serve as a material inducement for new staff, utilizing restricted stock units and stock options to align incoming talent with long-term corporate performance.

The equity awards, granted on August 31, 2026, under the company’s 2025 Inducement Plan, comprise 115,320 restricted stock units and options for 5,560 shares of common stock. These options carry an exercise price of $121.82 per share, matching the closing price on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on the date of the grant.

Both the stock units and the options follow a four-year vesting schedule. The restricted stock units vest at a rate of 25% annually, while the 10-year stock options vest at 25% after the first year, followed by 12.5% increments every six months. These grants comply with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), a standard mechanism for companies to offer equity incentives to new recruits.
