Sharon AI Taps Rafay Systems to Manage Growing GPU Infrastructure

Australian Neocloud provider Sharon AI has entered a five-year strategic partnership with Rafay Systems to standardize the orchestration of its global AI Factory environments. The deal aims to streamline operations for the company’s rapidly expanding compute footprint, specifically targeting the management of up to 150,000 GPUs over the coming years.

The agreement shifts Sharon AI away from fragmented cluster deployments toward a unified control plane. By integrating the Rafay platform, the company intends to automate provisioning, governance, and monitoring across its data centers in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. This abstraction layer is designed to handle the complexities of multi-tenancy and workload orchestration, allowing Sharon AI to deliver secure, production-ready infrastructure to its customers without requiring them to manage the underlying hardware directly.

James Manning, CEO of Sharon AI, noted that the standardized framework is essential for accelerating service delivery and improving compute efficiency as the firm scales. For Rafay Systems, the partnership serves as a high-profile validation of its platform, which supports both Kubernetes and virtual machine environments. As the infrastructure grows to accommodate the projected 150,000 GPU capacity, this centralized approach will act as the primary operational foundation for Sharon AI’s ongoing global expansion.
