HeyGears G1X Series Crosses $15 Million Milestone on Kickstarter

The HeyGears G1X Series has surged past $15 million in crowdfunding, underscoring heavy demand for its modular desktop platform. The system, which integrates full-color 3D, UV, and fabric printing, is currently entering its final campaign phase, offering backers additional cashback incentives alongside existing early-bird discounts.

Designed to bridge the gap between industrial capability and desktop accessibility, the G1X Series offers three distinct configurations. The UV version, priced at $2799 after cashback, targets high-efficiency production on rigid materials. For apparel professionals, the $2849 Fabric Print version supports both DTG and DTF workflows using a unified aqueous ink system. Meanwhile, the $3099 Full-Color 3D version utilizes water-soluble supports to facilitate complex geometries without the need for extensive manual finishing.

At the core of the hardware sits the industrial-grade Epson I3200 printhead, supported by a quad-layer anti-clogging framework to ensure longevity and consistent output quality. By allowing users to swap functionality rather than replacing core machines, HeyGears aims to lower the total cost of ownership for small businesses and independent creators. With the campaign nearing its conclusion, backers can secure up to $1,700 in savings off the retail price, with additional rewards unlocked by the recent $15 million stretch goal achievement.
