Always Best Care Franchisees Expand Senior Support into Johnson County

Ryan and Ashley Mitchell are extending their senior care reach across Central Indiana, bringing in-home assistance to families in the South Side of Indianapolis. Building on their established Terre Haute operations, the couple now aims to serve communities including Greenwood, Franklin, and Bargersville with personalized, non-medical support services.

The expansion marks a significant step for the pair, who joined the Always Best Care network in 2024. By combining Ashley Mitchell’s healthcare background with Ryan Mitchell’s leadership experience, they provide a range of services from daily living assistance and dementia care to post-hospital recovery support and senior living referrals. This growth strategy focuses on embedding their business within the local healthcare ecosystem to provide families with a reliable resource for navigating complex care decisions.

Jake Brown, President and CEO of Always Best Care, noted that the move reflects a growing demand for trusted local support as more older adults prioritize aging in place. For the Mitchells, the expansion is less about territory and more about continuity of care, aiming to replicate the relationship-based model they established in their initial Terre Haute office. Families throughout Johnson County can now access these services to maintain independence and quality of life for their loved ones.
