The litigation, Ianelli v. York Space Systems, Inc. et al., centers on allegations that the company misled shareholders regarding the functionality of its satellite mission and payload software. Plaintiffs claim the firm failed to disclose that software remained incomplete at the time of satellite launches, creating significant risks for contracts with the Pentagon’s Space Development Agency. According to the complaint, executives allegedly utilized false advertising to secure these government deals while cutting corners on mission-critical development.

These omissions purportedly rendered the company's public statements concerning its operations and financial prospects materially misleading. The class action covers investors who purchased common stock traceable to the January 2026 registration statement or those who acquired securities between January 29 and May 11, 2026. Legal counsel from Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC is currently reviewing the claims of those impacted by the alleged violations of federal securities laws.
