CHiQ Secures AI Home Ecosystem Award at IFA 2026

Smart home brand CHiQ received the AI Home Ecosystem Brand Award at IFA 2026 in Berlin this week. The accolade, presented by IDG and IFA, honors the company's progress in integrating artificial intelligence across a diverse suite of household appliances to create intuitive, responsive living environments for global consumers.

The award recognizes CHiQ’s shift from individual product features toward a cohesive ecosystem where devices communicate to meet specific user needs. According to Vinson Fan, Deputy General Manager of Changhong International, the brand’s focus remains on ensuring technology feels natural rather than purely functional. This philosophy was on display at IFA, where CHiQ debuted a new lineup of AI-integrated hardware, including RGB MiniLED televisions with specialized sports platforms, precision-control refrigerators, and intelligent climate-management systems.

Beyond hardware, the company is attempting to bridge the gap between complex technology and daily lifestyle through localized marketing. By incorporating design elements like panda-inspired interfaces and leveraging high-profile sports sponsorships such as the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, CHiQ is working to establish a stronger foothold in the European market. The brand intends to leverage this recent recognition to further expand its open ecosystem, prioritizing personalized automation that adapts to the specific habits of its users.
