Morpho Debuts Desktop UV Printer at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Morpho is turning heads by bringing industrial-grade UV printing to the desktop. Attendees at Hall 17-196 are watching the machine produce vivid, textured prints on materials ranging from wood to leather, signaling a shift in how creators approach custom surface manufacturing.

The printer’s appeal centers on its G7 Master ColorSpace certification, which guarantees professional-grade color consistency. An industrial-grade printhead manages this output, building up fine layers of ink to create tactile, raised textures at carriage speeds reaching 600mm/s. Despite this performance, the hardware retains a modest footprint thanks to a moving gantry architecture that keeps the fully enclosed print chamber compact.

Usability serves as the project's cornerstone, addressed through the proprietary Stereo Vision Smart Alignment™ System. This feature automatically detects object height and contours, simplifying the preparation process for novices and professionals alike. Founder Mingyu "Brett" Wang, a former Global VP of R&D at DJI, attributes the machine's design to a direct feedback loop with its early user community. This development strategy appears to have resonated with the market; ahead of the Berlin showcase, the company’s Kickstarter campaign secured over $10 million in funding from 2,800 backers, validating the demand for accessible, high-precision customization tools.
