The tool activates the moment a verified business call concludes, presenting a branded action card directly within the Truecaller interface. By keeping the interaction within the app, the company aims to eliminate the friction of juggling SMS links, app downloads, or long wait times on hold. For last-mile delivery services, this means customers can share location data, authorize a safe drop, or confirm availability without needing to speak to another agent.
In the financial sector, the stakes involve more than just convenience. As impersonation scams reach record levels, the feature offers a security layer: these action cards only appear for calls verified by Truecaller. This allows users to complete KYC requirements, pay dues, or confirm transactions with the assurance that the prompt is legitimate. Priyam Bose, Global Head of GTM for Truecaller for Business, noted that the update transforms the phone call from a source of "homework" for the customer into a resolved transaction, regardless of whether the initial call was fully completed or missed.
