Jixingfeng Scales Smart Production for Global Performance Hosiery

Foshan-based manufacturer Jixingfeng is pivoting toward high-performance hosiery, leveraging a 19,000-square-meter facility to meet rising global demand for specialized apparel. By integrating advanced material science with scalable knitting technology, the firm is transitioning from basic commodity production to precision-engineered products for the sports and healthcare sectors.

The company operates a robust infrastructure featuring 570 knitting machines, yielding a daily output of 170,000 pairs. This capacity allows for a dual-track strategy: supporting mass-market volume while maintaining agility for small-batch prototyping. To ensure consistent quality, the factory utilizes 360-degree seamless digital printing, which stabilizes complex jacquard and 3D designs during high-speed production runs. This end-to-end ecosystem connects material blending directly to retail packaging, a setup that has secured partnerships with major international footwear and sportswear brands.

Innovation is driven by a focus on material diversity and functional design. Jixingfeng currently incorporates specialized fibers, including Sorona bio-based yarn, merino wool, and Lenzing Modal, to meet specific performance benchmarks such as moisture management and arch support. This technical shift extends to medical-grade offerings, including diabetic and compression hosiery. With 60% of its output destined for the United States, Europe, and Australia, the manufacturer adheres to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 protocols to navigate strict international regulatory environments. Founder Susan Xu emphasizes that the firm’s future competitiveness relies on moving beyond traditional manufacturing to act as a technical partner capable of translating complex product requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
