Universal Music Group Finalizes €250 Million Share Buyback

The final tranche of the buyback, executed between August 31 and September 4, saw shares purchased at an average price of €14.65. This brought the total expenditure to €249,999,946, effectively exhausting the authorized capital allocation announced on August 6. In total, the program resulted in the repurchase of 16,552,027 shares. The Hilversum-based firm maintained transparency throughout the process, providing weekly updates on its investor relations portal to satisfy EU Market Abuse Regulation disclosure requirements.
