The new WH-1000XM4C retains the core design of the original WH-1000XM4 but introduces refined sound tuning and a 10-band equalizer for deeper personalization. Priced at $299.99, it arrives in Black, Platinum Silver, and a new Lavender color. Masaaki Hori, Vice President of personal entertainment at Sony Electronics, noted that the model serves to reinforce the brand's position in the premium noise-cancelling market alongside the recently debuted WH-1000XM6.
Simultaneously, Sony is targeting the mid-range and entry-level segments with the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530. The WH-CH730N, priced at $179.99, features a new foldable design, improved call quality, and a 50-hour battery life. For budget-conscious consumers, the $69.99 WH-CH530 offers up to 55 hours of playback and comes in six distinct colors. Both models include AI-driven noise reduction for calls and multipoint connectivity, aiming to capture first-time buyers and students looking for versatile, reliable hardware.
