EQT Completes Share Buyback Program

Stockholm-based investment firm EQT AB has concluded its latest share repurchase initiative, acquiring a total of 4,368,899 ordinary shares. The program, which began on July 20, 2026, saw the company deploy over 1.44 billion Swedish krona to stabilize its capital structure by the market close on September 4.

The final week of the program accounted for 707,203 of the total shares repurchased, with transactions executed on Nasdaq Stockholm via Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. During the final five-day period, the firm paid a weighted average price of 324.06 SEK per share, contributing to an overall program average of 331.58 SEK per share.

Following these acquisitions, EQT now holds 61,033,664 of its own shares, leaving 1,245,930,082 shares outstanding. These treasury shares are excluded from dividend distributions and voting rights at shareholder meetings. The buyback was carried out under the framework of the Market Abuse Regulation, fulfilling the mandate announced by the board on May 12, 2026, which set a maximum expenditure limit of 2.5 billion SEK.
