A 177% year-on-year jump in August exports marks a new milestone for GAC, with 26,978 proprietary units shipped abroad. The automotive manufacturer's growth strategy shows distinct regional momentum. In Africa, retail sales skyrocketed by 881% in August, bolstered by a new localized production agreement in Egypt with Jameel Motors and an official entry into the Ghanaian market. Meanwhile, the Americas saw a 93% increase in terminal sales. Notably, in Uruguay, GAC captured a 6.0% market share in July, with the AION V claiming the top spot in the compact SUV segment.

Southeast Asian markets remain a core pillar of this performance, recording a 24% rise in terminal sales. Exceptional results in the Philippines, where sales climbed 283%, complement the brand's success in Hong Kong, where the E9 luxury MPV secured the number one rank in its category. European operations also gained traction, with a 93% month-over-month retail sales increase, highlighted by a strong performance in Greece where GAC took second place in pure EV sales.

To sustain this trajectory in the Middle East, the company recently debuted the XT80 off-road vehicle alongside the GS7 PHEV. With cumulative sales from January to August reaching 172,008 units—a 136% increase—GAC is positioning its flagship portfolio to capture further market share in increasingly competitive global environments.
