ZaiNar serves as a founding location partner for the newly launched Arm initiative, which seeks to streamline the development and deployment of autonomous systems. Rather than relying on onboard sensors to determine coordinates, the company’s technology utilizes existing wireless infrastructure—such as 5G and WiFi—to provide sub-10cm positioning accuracy. This method enables robots to inherit environmental data, allowing for swarm coordination and persistent site mapping without requiring additional hardware or battery consumption.
"Robotics has spent a decade teaching every machine to figure out where it is, one machine at a time," said Daniel Jacker, CEO and co-founder of ZaiNar. The system delivers updates 100 to 500 times per second, significantly outpacing standard 5G positioning signals. This high-frequency data is designed to assist fast-moving autonomous machines in GPS-denied environments, including underground facilities and indoor spaces. By integrating its algorithms into Arm-based compute platforms, ZaiNar intends to provide a unified ground truth for industrial robotics, helping machines coordinate movements and learn from the collective history of their shared environment.
