Harradence, who joined Enbridge in 2014, has spent the last two years managing the company’s gas utilities and spearheading the integration of its U.S. utility acquisitions. Her tenure includes a previous stint in Houston as chief operating officer for the Gas Transmission and Midstream business, following a career in senior leadership at Shell Canada.

Ebel, who assumed the chief executive position in January 2023 after serving as board chair since 2017, will maintain his seat on the board until his retirement on December 31, 2026. To ensure continuity during the shift, he will transition into an advisory role from January through May 2027.
