Yutong Expands European Portfolio With T14 Premium Coach

Yutong has officially entered the European premium tourist coach market with the launch of the T14, a diesel-powered model engineered to balance long-distance passenger comfort with operational efficiency. The vehicle arrives as a strategic expansion of the company’s T-Series lineup, targeting diverse transit routes across the continent.

The T14 is built on a high-performance foundation featuring a DAF MX-13 engine, which produces 350 kW of power and 2,500 N•m of torque. To manage the varied demands of European terrain, the coach incorporates ZF air suspension and a Bosch steering system, achieving a turning diameter of under 21 meters for improved maneuverability. Efficiency is bolstered by a 20% reduction in drag coefficient, gained through a streamlined front-wall design and electronic rear-view mirrors, which contributes to a 2% to 3% improvement in fuel economy.

Inside, the focus shifts to passenger experience and driver ergonomics. The cabin environment is maintained by a dual-zone climate control system capable of handling extreme temperatures, while eco-friendly materials ensure low odor levels. The driver interface has been overhauled, consolidating controls into a 10.25-inch instrument display and a 12.8-inch central screen. This digital transition reduces the number of physical switches by 60% while expanding system functionality, supported by a suite of safety technologies including Adaptive Cruise Control and Advanced Emergency Braking Systems.
