Cataneo Targets Global Media Market with AI-Native Platform at IBC2026

As media companies grapple with the limitations of legacy on-premises infrastructure, Cataneo is preparing to showcase its cloud-native MYDAS platform at IBC2026 in Amsterdam. The company, now a division of Brand Engagement Network, aims to demonstrate how integrating proprietary AI can modernize advertising sales and content management for global broadcasters.

The exhibition, held September 11–14 at RAI Amsterdam, serves as the stage for Cataneo’s push into the U.S. market. Following its acquisition by Brand Engagement Network on June 30, 2026, the company established a new commercial headquarters on Madison Avenue in New York City. This expansion is designed to accelerate the adoption of their AI-enhanced software among American media organizations and content owners.

The MYDAS platform currently manages advertising inventory for over 1,000 media brands and 200 broadcast and digital channels. By replacing rigid legacy systems with cloud-native workflows, the company claims its Mydas Optimizer tool can improve advertising yields by 10% or more. Renato Rocha Pinto, CEO of Cataneo, noted that the integration of BEN’s Engagement Language Model provides the real-time intelligence and scalability that modern media leaders require.

To spearhead this growth, the company recently appointed veteran media-technology executive Don Durand as Chief Sales Officer. At the upcoming conference, Cataneo will host live demonstrations in Hall 2, Booth C40, focusing on automated monetization workflows and the potential for in-home AI engagement to facilitate one-to-one consumer interactions.
