These vessels are designed to navigate harsh marine environments to support climate tracking and biodiversity monitoring.

MacGregor’s scope of supply is comprehensive, covering CTD winches, survey boat davits, stern A-frames, and ROV telescope booms. According to project stakeholders, the decision to partner with MacGregor was driven by the manufacturer’s history of integrating complex handling systems for scientific missions. Sanjay Chopra of Titagarh Naval Systems both emphasized the necessity for reliable, high-performance equipment to ensure the operational success of these specialized research platforms.
